'Context' Exhibition at Hyde Park Book Club and local intimate Hip Hop night for LSR

This was interesting to gather perspective on how other non art subjects present their work- the writing was brilliant and should be the focus in a literature exhibition, but the expressive way the backdrop of the stage was decorated and words were written on the walls shows a way in which set design can elevate an exhibition. Hyde Park book club is a venue I have also heard is versatile with their events and have always wanted to go in.I would really enjoy working with literature students to create designs to accompany their writing and will look in to this over summer as literature is a subject I was always very good at, but enjoy interpretation through design the most, like music briefs such as Secret 7 and Up Yer Sleeve which is why I always choose them.

Again, a unique event to be part of. The support and unity of the people in the room was amazing and events that allow people to become part of the experience get the most recognition, memorability, interaction and it is amazing way to spark conversations. Me and who I was with spoke to the guys running the event, becoming familiar with them and speaking of perhaps creating artwork for them some time. It can all start with a follow on Instagram and a face to face chat! Supporting students running events and trying to make something of themselves is also important to me and I really respect it.
